Building a digital-first approach to TV markets
eOne had some of the most visible outdoor spots at MIPCOM and LA Screenings but no digital presence alongside them. Over six years and seven markets I helped change that through a long-term digital partnership.
That included social media strategy, live event coverage, paid advertising and coordinating photographers and video producers on daily recap films and talent interviews with Nathan Fillion, Kristin Kreuk, Jeremy Sisto, Stephen Dorff and Tim Minchin among others.
The results across that period were consistent. At MIPCOM, eOne's hashtag became the number one trending topic, generating 8.6 times more engagement than any competitor. At LA Screenings, eOne posts made up 17 of the top 25 most retweeted in the industry. And at one MIPCOM event with no talent physically present, eOne still delivered the highest mentions, reach and unique authors of any competitor.
